I was working on becoming what I escape
For the first time in your backseat
Half hoping wed crash while trying not to laugh
at that cat that we hit in the street
And I dont really know man If I can go home
cause Im feeling way too good to speak
and I don't really know man If I'll be okay
But at least I survived the week
It only took about a month for me to get settled into
that warm comfy bed stuffed with lies
and It didn't take long till inhibitions were gone
And Life filled up with Goodbyes
and I can't explain how things went that way
But I know it was my fault at least
Some people say addiction hits like a train
But a train would at least give me peace

Life had held me underwater but I dont wanna drown
I got by on that short sweet high its the only breath I found
but I found the strength to stay alive
And now Ill breathe through this soon.
